We are Debbie & Keith Bull and we created Bulls Go Global to document our travels and provide inspiration and advice to as many people as we can convince to read our blog!
We will be sharing with you tips and experiences from our travels so far and bringing you (metaphorically) along on our future adventures.
As parents of 2 young children we will share plenty of experiences that kids will love. But when we travel, it is not all theme parks and beaches. You are far more likely to find us half way up a mountain than sitting by a pool.
So Bulls Go Global is not a family travel blog as such, but a site focussed on travel destinations and experiences. It just happens that most of our travel will be as a family for the foreseeable future!
Whether you are travelling with toddlers, teenagers or completely child free, we hope you will find Bulls Go Global a helpful and interesting read.
Our travel history
Between us we have managed to visit over 48 countries across 6 continents so far.
We first got together in 2008 and soon realised we share a passion for travel. It wasn’t long before we set off on our first adventures together, packing our rucksacks and exploring somewhere new whenever work and finances would allow.
Those first few years together saw us heading to exotic locations such as India, Borneo, Mexico, Argentina and Thailand. We focussed more on the destination and adventure rather than comfort and luxury!
Once we became parents, we decided to take the time to explore a little closer to home. We have enjoyed family trips to many European destinations including Switzerland, Austria, Greece, Germany, Portugal and France. We have also managed slightly further afield such as Cape Verde, Morocco and Jordan.
In general, these family trips have been more like traditional holidays than the adventurous travel of our child free days. We would stay in a villa or apartment rather than a hostel. Hire a car rather than taking a local bus. Pack a suitcase (or 2) rather than carry a rucksack.
But now that the children are a bit older and we no longer have to worry about nappies or pushchairs, we are ready to go exploring again!
